Mr helper

A little bit about Mr helper.

Hello and I am Mr helper. I am currently employed in education and live with my young family in the local area. Like many, spending time over the lock down period I have realised how important it is to have people around to offer a little bit of help from time to time. I enjoy speaking with people from different backgrounds as I believe we can all learn from each other. Over the years, my young son and I have enjoyed working in the garden that was once my grandad’s as well tackling some of the household DIY on a old house. As a family we believe in the benefits of being active and what it has to offer. I am looking to provide a little to support to people within the local community and hopefully to make life a little easier for those that need help.

What services does Mr helper offer?

Support with gardening – You may need help with a general tidy up which may involve weeding, mowing and trimming back some of the foliage within your outdoor area. Alternatively, you may need support with planting or trips to the garden centre in order to help you stay on top of things outside.

Support with exercise and shopping – There are a range of activities which Mr helper can support with. I can support you with getting back to the gym, swim, walking/dog walking as well as getting out about within the community.

Support with technology – I have parents who need support with technology and I understand how people can easily become frustrated by technology, you may feel “silly” asking for help! Mr helper can offer support with applications which are often free and easy to use, quite often you may just need a little help to get you started.

Light DIY – Mr Helper isn’t a qualified tradesmen. However, I can provide support with light DIY tasks such as shelving, tv brackets, painting. Obviously, I will be honest if the help required is beyond my skill set. But I may be able to contact someone who can help you.

Peace of mind – I am DBS checked and fully insured.

Mr helper is a small community enterprise which aims to make life a little bit easier for people. The services which I offer can be scheduled or provided as of when needed. If you would like regular support, Mr helper would be committed to a scheduled review to see if your needs are being met
