Music Therapy Dementia @ Home
Music Therapy @ Home sets out to provide support for those living at home with Mid to Late Dementia. Through the therapist’s musical training they engage in a way that draws people out that seem locked in and unable to communicate and express their feelings.
Julie works with the spouse/caregiver within the sessions to enable them to reconnect at these most difficult times
Music Therapy is used for agitation, calming difficult behaviours, communication (through musical connections), self expression and enabling connections that seem lost forever.
