My Bright Space (Bev Martin)
I’d like to introduce myself – Bev Martin – and my small business called My Bright Space, established in early 2021, offering offer a range of in-home care services within Banbury and surrounding villages – with empathy, kindness and compassion being at the forefront of all activities. I’m a cheerful Australian, with dual British nationality.
My services include in-home care, companionship, running errands, general light household tasks, transport to appointments, shopping, cooking, social outings and in-home activities (such as basic art and craft, help with relaxation, talking therapy, listening, reading-to) and much more.
I have a Level 4 Diploma of Psychotherapeutic Counselling – so I’m a good listener! I’m also certified in First Aid for Mental Health. I’m degree educated and very much an empathic ‘people person’. In my spare time I love walking my Cocker Spaniel and taking my children for days out, or on camping trips. I’m well travelled and love meeting new people.
Thank you for reading and I hope to meet you soon!

I have been through the Community Catalysts programme in Oxfordshire - 17/08/2022 Community Catalysts runs a local development programme in the area where this entrepreneur is operating that offers help, advice and support to local people. As part of this programme this enterprise/venture has signed up to the Doing It Right Standards. This does not mean that they have been accredited or approved in any way by the local council or by Community Catalysts and people should continue to do their own checks.
I have been through the Community Catalysts ‘Introduction to Setting up Your Small Enterprise’ course and Learn Dash assessment Community Catalysts runs a high quality, interactive training course in the area where this entrepreneur is operating. The course enables entrepreneurs to understand what is required to set up as a safe and legal small enterprise offering help, advice, or support to local people. A certificate of attendance is awarded once the entrepreneur has completed a Learn Dash assessment. This does not mean that they have been accredited or approved in any way by the local council or by Community Catalysts and people should continue to do their own checks.
