We are an independent Social Enterprise and we aim to ensure that older people have a positive experience when planning for their care and support needs by offering a friendly, compassionate, and personally tailored information, advice and guidance service

Each of us who works at Safe and Settled is a dedicated care professional who has experienced difficulties with obtaining consistent, accurate, local information, advice or support ourselves when faced with life changing situations with our own loved ones, and we are using both our professional and personal lived experience to make a difference.

We work to empower people to make the right choices and we work with each person as a unique individual, respecting your own cultural priorities and embracing your individual and diverse wishes and needs.

We will listen to your problems, help you identify your priorities and provide you with a wide range of solutions to meet your needs based on our research on what is available in your local area – this might include befriending, care or support at home or residential care.

We are committed to enabling you to find the right care and support solutions for you, and we work effectively with other key community delivery partners to ensure that resources are used as effectively as possible.

Our motto is simple – you decide, we guide – and we work to empower you to make the right care and support choices for yourself.

In addition we have secured BIG Lottery funding to run and Advocacy and Community Development Volunteer Programme.  This project works collaboratively with local partners to recruit and train 25 volunteers aged 50+ to become Community Connectors working at the heart of local communities the Black Country

We also use our extensive professional knowledge and expertise to offer a range of bespoke learning and development programmes designed to suit a wide range of audiences, including training for volunteers, staff and management teams.
