Sam’s Workplace is a community cafe and sweet shop offering work placements to adults with a learning disability. They can choose to work in any of our work environments, be it the cafe, sweet shop, arts and crafts workshop, or allotments (and work with small animals). We offer independence and life skills within our family set up kitchen, training room, training bedroom, training bathroom. We underpin all our learning with independence skills so what they learn here they can replicate easily at home – including the washing, hoovering and dusting!!
