Welcome to Silver Linings – ‘A friend indeed, if you’re in need’
We are a small, friendly independent service based in North Herts providing a unique combination of TWO services to older people living in North and East Herts to help you or a close relative live the life you want to.
At times in our life we may find ourselves unable to do the things we once used to do, limited by mobility problems or disabilities and restricted to the home can be frustrating and lead to loneliness and feeling isolated. Knowing what help is around and where to turn for support can feel like stepping into a maze and Silver Linings understands the difficulties and frustrations this can cause. We also know that having just one person you trust to help offer support and guide you through the maze can be invaluable. Together we can find creative and practical solutions to match your individual requirements to services available.
Offers you practical support in the home and local community including:
- Pet assistance
- Running errands
- Help with finances
- Household chores
- Transport and accompaniment to medical appointments or social activities.
This list is not limited and we can offer assistance with many other ad hoc tasks. Just ring and ask!
Single Gateway Service
This service will help you to access other support and services in the local community. With a wealth of community-based knowledge we build working partnerships with statutory and non-statutory organisations as well as local charities and clubs to ensure we can match your individual requirments to services in the area.
Whether you choose to use any of our Direct Services or our Single Gateway Service, we are dedicated to supporting you in choosing the type of assistance that suits YOUR individual needs and wants. Many organisations try to fit the person to the services rather than fit the service to the person, we do the opposite!
We have full Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance and staff are DBS checked (CRB). We respect your confidentiality and strictly adhere to policies and procedures including the Data Protection Act 1998, protecting your rights.
Please contact us for your initial free no obligation face to face consultation
