Silverlining Support and Wellbeing Services
Hi, my name is Michelle, I am a 37 year old mother of 2 who lives in Acomb. After suffering from anxiety and depression after the birth of my first child, I decided to do a degree in Applied Social Science as I knew I wanted to help others .My background includes Youth Work and volunteering for amazing charities such as Homestart .
I am passionate about helping others who are also struggling. I am patient, understanding and a big believer that there is no “one size fits all” when living with mental health conditions.
I am available to support young adults age 18+ , my services include,
Emotional support
Support with daily tasks
Support with household chores or tasks, including budgeting, meal prep and support to learn basic cooking skills
Support to access groups or social activities,
I am also very passionate about helping and supporting mums who have Post Natal Depression, anxiety and/or are feeling isolated. I have been there I understand! I am a friendly ear who can help support you , whether it is someone to attend the first baby group with or someone who can help you sort the kitchen or even sit and have a cup of tea with you. I am happy to help you with whatever you need.
If you need support with anything that isn’t on the list, please get in touch for a chat and I can see what I can do.
Enhanced DBS , insurance and certificates can be shown on request.
