Hi, my name is Martin, and I have worked as a lead support worker for 8 years in the Worcestershire area with an emphasis on person centered support.
I have always tried to support people to help them to do things in their home and to get more involved in daily activities. I have a lot of experience working on a one to one basis visiting people with learning disabilities and mental health needs in their own homes.
I offer a varied mixture of support including housework and cleaning, preparing and cooking meals, support to appointments, support to groups and clubs and support with research for daily/weekly activities, job applications and education.
I have passed many training courses including Health & Safety, Adult Protection, First Aid, Food Safety, CPR, and Risk Assessment, to name but a few.
I can also offer references from satisfied customers to anyone who is interested, just let me know.
