Steve Hill self employed Personal Assistant and Carer

Hello, my name is Steve and I offer care and support to older people with learning difficulties.

After working for 11 years with Social Services I decided to leave to become self-employed.  I made this decision so that I could use my experience to develop my own care and support service, which is individually tailored and personalised to the needs and preferences of each individual person who I work with.

I am fully insured for providing care, support and transport, and I am DBS checked and hold a NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care.  I’ve also been trained in food hygiene, manual handing and use of a hoist, epilepsy and first aid.  In addition I’ve had lots of experience in working with people with challenging behaviour and profound and multiple learning disabilities.

I am able to work in people living in the Somerset/Wiltshire area and can offer care and support with a wide range of things including:

• Support in and around your home

• Shopping

• Support with healthy eating ideas

• Help with organising your home

• Support with correspondence and letters

• Gardening

• Befriending

• Support with social activities, getting out and about, day trips, short breaks or holidays.

• Pet Care

• Night Care

Please do get in touch, for a friendly chat on how I might be of help to you.
