The Rambling Artist written in a circle in rainbow colours

Hi everyone!

I’m Amber, a wildlife illustrator, based in Kent! I am so excited to be starting community Watercolour Workshops in April!

They will potentially be held at Whitstable Umbrella Centre and Beach Creative in Herne Bay. I am currently waiting to officially confirm the first dates, and I am so excited!

I’m hoping to visit venues around East Kent (Whitstable, Herne Bay and Canterbury). I aim to build up a Safe Space that encourages creativity, and positively supports mental wellbeing. I want to bring together a friendly, positive community, where everyone has a chance to enjoy and make art, regardless of their perceived ability.

I’ll be hosting small group sessions (no more than 6 people to start with) and individual sessions for adults, too, if you’d like to improve your skills further!

I am so excited to be sharing this with you, and can’t wait to start next month!

Areas: Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay

Keywords: art, illustration, watercolour painting, social group, learn new skills, private tuition

I have been through the Community Catalysts programme in Kent - 21/02/2023 Community Catalysts runs a local development programme in the area where this entrepreneur is operating that offers help, advice and support to local people. As part of this programme this enterprise/venture has signed up to the Doing It Right Standards. This does not mean that they have been accredited or approved in any way by the local council or by Community Catalysts and people should continue to do their own checks.
