Thoughtism delivers comprehensive training in understanding autism and in effective verbal behavioural intervention techniques. We deliver courses that meet learners needs across their wide range of skills and knowledge.

Thoughtism also specialises in providing bespoke support to people with autism and their families or carers. We facilitate the development of skills and strategies to live more independently. We are there to help with productive strategies to address difficult to understand behaviours and through self motivation and self awareness, we help people with autism and their carers overcome the normal everyday challenges they sometimes face.

Owner, Nigel Lyons, is a very experienced learning disability nurse who has spent over 10 years managing and developing community residential settings for the most complex autistic individuals with typically significant behavioural support needs. He has developed and created a range of easy to apply approaches to life disrupting behaviours, based on his extensive hands on practical experience of individuals in crisis or out of personal control.
