Tony to Help

Care agencies are good at what they do – I work as a carer myself – but there can be limits to what they can do.

Care agencies are often asked if they can help with things that aren’t ‘care work’.  Things like researching a trip, helping find something on-line, putting up a new bathroom cabinet or fixing a curtain rail bracket.  But they are not allowed to, as the agency isn’t insured for that, it’s not on the ‘Care Plan’ and there isn’t time in a standard visit anyway.

That’s where Tony to Help is different.  I’m a trained carer, but I’m also a trained engineer and IT worker, and a keen cook with a Food Safety certificate.  If there’s something you need, and I can do it, then I will.

Our usual service is a two hour visit, where we’ll provide any help you want.  This can be helping with the Internet for holiday planning or on-line shopping, helping with household admin, helping to care for a pet, helping you cook, helping with hobbies or anything else that makes your life easier and better.  We support people to live the life they choose.  Anything we can do to help you live life the way you want to, that’s what we do.

We aim to be like family, when family can’t be there.
