Fenton’s HomeCare

Hi everyone,

My name is Tracey, I am a mum to three wonderful children (two of which are now all grown up and living independently with their own careers) and I live in Easingwold, North Yorkshire. I am incredibly proud of the journey I have undertaken over the past 2 years, especially during a pandemic that has caused so much worry to many. I absolutely love my job and sincerely believe that I am privileged to be able to provide care and support to others. I have gained decades of experience within various care sectors, ranging from young children, vulnerable adults and also the more mature members of our lovely local area. Whilst employed for a number of years within a nationally renowned organisation that provides supported living (MenCap), I met a fabulous lady who made me aware of the amount of people across Easingwold and surrounding areas who were in desperate need of some home care/help but could not afford the rates quoted by larger home care organisations and/or agencies. This inspired me to reach out myself and offer some much needed home assistance to these wonderful people.  I very quickly decided that if just one person could not find affordable care in our local area, then it was one person too many.

We are NOT a large organisation dependant on making profit. I am self employed, my home is my office and I pride myself on being able to provide affordable and much needed care and support. When I visit you to discuss your requirements I always take vital time to get to know you as an individual, I truly believe it is not just about caring and supporting, the most important part for me is to build a relationship where you feel comfortable and safe. I also prefer to see myself as a ‘Care Companion’ rather than a Carer and my ultimate aim is to build a more personal and cherished relationship founded on mutual trust, cemented with dignity and compassion and over time…..friendship.

As a Care Companion, I hold qualifications and/or have experience in the following areas;

Food safety, Health & Social (Adult Care), Dementia Trained, First Aid Qualified, DBS Cleared/checked, fully insured,Data Protection Compliant (ICO Registered)
