Verachilly Social Care

Contact details

Welcome to Verachilly Social Care a part of Verachilly Consultancy Services Limited. We are an independent provider of social care services, community care, coaching, training, and advocacy services to promote the best outcome for children and adults. We provide community care services and independent social work services in England with a major focus in Central Bedfordshire. We are also available to cover other parts of Bedfordshire and other local authorities such as Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, and Peterborough. We can only provide services in other areas if we have a service level agreement with the commissioning authority, Private Organisation or directly with the individual funding their services and support needs.

It is our mission to deliver exemplary services that reach families and enable every adult and child to fully achieve their potentials and make informed choice about their care and support needs. From delivering highly targeted services that address identified risks and needs at the earliest possible opportunity to playing our part in ensuring children remain safe whether they are at home, in school or out and about in their community, it is our mission here at Verachilly Social Care to empower families and children so that they can not only cope with the challenges that life throws at them but thrive even in difficult circumstances.

Our targeted interventions are designed to close the gaps and enable vulnerable children to achieve their goals with the support they need to be the very best that they can be.

About Us

Since our establishment in 2015, we have brought together a talented team of professionals who are on hand to offer services during the week, at the weekend, and bank holiday. We can also offer out of hours emergency services to both private individuals and local authorities, tailoring our services specifically to families or individual’s assessed needs.

It is our vision to achieve a range of positive goals for the people that we work with such as:

  • The provision of person-centred services that are underpinned by appropriate legislation
  • The provision of family support and early intervention services to families that do not meet the criteria for local authority specialist services intervention.
  • The provision of access and participation to BME families and families that are difficult to engage.
  • The provision of stable and supportive homes with consistent and caring relationships.
  • Listening and responding to the views, feelings, and wishes of children.
  • The provision of timely support and responses to children and giving them access to community resources.
  • Respecting and promoting children’s rights.
  • Taking a whole-family approach to children’s early intervention.
  • Safeguarding the social care, health, and welfare needs of children.
  • Having high aspirations for every child.
  • Respecting and valuing diversity.
  • Promoting contact with friends and family for children in local authority care.
  • Ensuring that the children in care that we work with understand their rights to leave care only when they’re properly prepared and ready to do so.
  • Supporting and preparing care leavers in their transition to living independently.
  • Making decisions based on need assessments.
  • Celebrating children’s achievements.
  • The provision of person-centred services and support to adults in the community to ensure they achieve their goals.

Community Outreach Services

Our Community Support Service is here to provide advice, information and holistic outreach support to people who are experiencing barriers to meet their social care needs.

We work with both adults and children with learning difficulties, mental health, long term health conditions, low self-esteem and people from Black Minority Ethnic groups who are not able to access support due to their language barriers.

We work alongside you to develop an individually tailored package of support that meets your needs, working with you to find the solutions that are right for you.

Our high-quality service is flexible and will help you to resolve real-life difficulties and to improve your own independence, quality of life and wellbeing.
