Welcome to The Buzz!

Here you will find videos with activities that you can do at home.

There are over 100 different activities here with things like art, exercise, cooking and learning.

The videos have been made by really good community enterprises that have worked with Community Catalysts. They are all experienced in running inclusive and accessible, fun sessions!

Art Works are hosting an international art exhibition! They will be showing art made by artists with a learning disability from all over the world. You can send them your art work in any style and it might be part of the show!

    • 240g peanut butter
    • 100g caster sugar
    • 1 egg
  • Baking a carrot cake with Funky Fitness and Fun CIC. Funky Fitness and Fun were supported by Community Catalysts in Oldham. You will need:
    • Self-raising flour
    • Sugar (Emma uses coconut sugar for hers)
    • Nutmeg/cinnamon/bicarbonate of soda
    • Sunflower oil
    • 3 x eggs
    • 1 x orange
    • Carrots – for the cake + extra to colour the icing
    • Icing sugar

    • One banana
    • Six tablespoons of ground oats
    • One tablespoon of oil
    • One tablespoon of milk or non-dairy milk
    • A tiny pinch of salt
    • Half a teaspoon of baking powder
    • One teaspoon of sugar (optional)
    • A dash of cinnamon (optional)
    • A few drops of vanilla extract (optional)
    • + any toppings you like
